Mail Order Pharmacy

APlus Discounts has partnered with HealthTrans for mail order pharmacy services. HealthTrans works together with its network of contracted partners to offer APlus Discounts members an integrated solution on a national level to member needs for maintenance medications on the mail order side. HealthTrans manages prescription intake and customer service. With 30 years of collective experience managing cost-effective clinical programs for a range of clients, HealthTrans makes the order and dispensing process as easy as possible for members and providers. The process is as follows:

Order Placement


Step 1 - Doctor Prescription New orders are received by mail. The first prescription filled through mail order needs to be an original prescription from the physician for a 90-day supply with the completed mail order form.

Step 2 - Print out a copy of the order form by clicking here. Please fill out the order form completely and print clearly. Use one order form for each member ordering medication(s). Missing information delays the processing of your order. Refills can be ordered by contacting HealthTrans directly by calling our toll-free number at 877-289-0616. Members are reminded by an automated phone service approximately ten days before a scheduled refill.

Step 3 - Select Payment Option When using a credit card, be sure to include your credit card number and expiration date. HealthTrans Pharmacy cannot process or ship your order without payment in full. HealthTrans Pharmacy provides free standard shipping for prescriptions. If you choose to have your medication shipment rush-ordered, additional costs will apply.

Step 4 - Submit Form to HealthTrans Send a copy of completed form and your prescription(s) to: HealthTrans, P.O. Box 4057, Greenwood Village, CO 80155-4057 Prescriptions may also be faxed to HealthTrans Pharmacy from your doctor's office at 877-289-0617

Step 5 - For Refills If your medication was previously filled by any other pharmacy check the label for the prescription number. You can have your old prescription transferred to HealthTrans by calling toll-free 877-289-0616. If you are currently using mail order pharmacy you will need to have your doctor write a new 90-day supply prescription and submit it to HealthTrans to begin using the HealthTrans mail order service.

Medication Supply Considerations

Be sure to place your order at least 21 days before you run out of your current medication supply. Our service requires your doctor to write a prescription for a 90-day supply. If you need a prescription fulfilled immediately, ask your doctor to write a 30-day prescription that you can have filled at your local pharmacy, and a 90-day prescription for you to send to HealthTrans Pharmacy. (Please note: if your doctor specifies a quantity less than 90 days, it will be filled as written on the prescription. For example: if the prescription specifies a 30-day supply, HealthTrans Pharmacy will fill the prescription for 30 days.)

Pharmacy regulations prohibit HealthTrans Pharmacy from honoring requests to cancel or return prescription orders after the order has been received.
